Great staff and great food

I came here Saturday afternoon from 11-2 and I had a blonde lady serving me. She was the nicest server I’ve ever had. She did a great job making her service personal by telling us about her daughters and comparing their tattoos to mine. But that’s besides the point. She was really kind and was also really fast. I can’t remember her name and I wish I did but she was a blonde mother of two daughters. So 5 stars for customer service. The food and prices: amazing. The food was perfect, the portions were huge neither my boyfriend, sister nor I could finish our meal. They gave us 5 pieces of bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes for the sunset super meal and I added toast on the side. The food also tasted really great, especially their potatoes. It was only about $35 for two people including drinks. Probably the best breakfast place I’ve been to. This is definitely going to be my go-to whenever I’m craving breakfast foods.

Wanted to order and souble burger which i used to do, now with new operatirs they said rhat i couldnt order that. I normally come in geouos and we spend good money. Not sure if i want to vusit again.

Nice location, no problems with parking, could easily get in even during Sunday brunch rush. Nothing fancy which is why it's fairly priced, although I like their breakfast options.

We ordered breakfast from them through UBEReats to celebrate our roommates birthday! Unfortunately the driver left half our order at the restaurant. After notifying Uber, we called the restaurant and Angela took care of the issue by personally delivering the food to us in no time. They were so efficient and kind enough to slot in free pancakes as well!

Our favorite breakfast spot around and a step above any other Sunset Grill. Mike always greets us with a smile and the food is always fresh.

Got the Vegan hashbrowns (came with avocado spread, diced tomatoes on the side) and the cheeseburger with hasbrowns (probably one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had so far!!) great service and such a variety to choose from.

Pleasant atmosphere, very good food, reasonable prices, quick friendly service. This was my first visit to this Sunset Grill location, and I like it enough that it may become one of my breakfast/lunch go-tos.

The Sunset Grill offers good food in generous servings for very reasonable prices. You can count on a good breakfast with good service, a bottomless cup of coffee at a very good price. The difference in serving, service, time waiting for your order and what you pay compared to a place like McDonald's or Tim's makes Sunset Grill an excellent alternative.

Very good, reasonably priced, tasty breakfasts. Portion sizes were huge. A small mix up resulted in the person I was meeting arriving just over 30 minutes late. The waitresses were quite friendly and accommodating.

Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Food is average, but priced accordingly. Wait area is tiny, so be prepared to possibly stand outside, especially on weekends.

Best breakfast place. Best value for your dineros. Super polite staff. Delicious and fresh food.

Sunset Grill at the Stockyards is excellent. My husband and I have been there several times and we always get great service and impeccable food. Its usually very busy, and as the place is not huge there might be a 10 minutes wait for a table, but its totally worth it. Omelettes, steaks, eggs and even the toasts are flawless.

I would love to review the food, but I cannot. I was denied access at entry due to my friend who brought her service dog and proper documentation. She presented the documentation, which is an official letter from CAMH stating that she requires an emotional support dog. She was up front and showed the dog - they would not have noticed her otherwise as she was concealed in her backpack.This was the first time she's ever been denied entry to a restaurant or any other dog-forbiding establishment.I have been to several Sunset Grills and enjoyed them immensely. My friend has been to several other Sunset Grill locations where this has not been a problem.

Extremely polite, helpful, and well trained staff. Meal was served quickly, fresh and hot. Restaurant was very clean and appealing.

This is my Favorite location! Mike and family are awesome!

Very delicious breakfast with kind staff. Recommend coming a bit early as the line often goes out the door! I suggest trying their eggs Benedict, their hollandaise sauce is scrumptious.

Large location less time waiting in line. Home fries could use improving... never hot enough and sometimes seems too old to serve.

Breakfast is yummy but be prepared to wait a bit as it is often busy.

What a great experience 👌... We were very happy with our breakfast this morning! Even though the restaurant was busy, the level of service was still top notch! Delicous hot breakfast with great service! Mike was very accommodating and loves to see his customers happy. The quality service of the staff makes all the difference and it showed this morning : ) The home cut fries with sautéed onions and mushrooms was our favorite! Their fresh coffee was a unique blend and simply wonderful. We even purchased an extra cup each to go. We will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to all my family and friends! Haven't been back in a few months due to a very hectic schedule, I realized I was in the area, and it was time to visit Sunset Grill (plus I'm hungry) It was 09:25 AM I ordered an 8 oz steak (well done), 2 eggs, toast, coffee, water. Steak was flawless - mmmm!Service was friendly, and on the ball. Waitresses were always asking patrons if they needed their coffee or water topped up....overall 5 stars all around! Amazing service! Ps - hi Mike (Manager), sorry I missed you buddy:) will be back again!

Never fails. Great service and food. One of our favorite places in the city for breakfast and brunch. We live in a different part of the city but love to come here at least once a month.

Mike was very friendly and very outgoing. Food was absolutely delicious and service was amazing. Definitely would come back here again!!!

Always great to come here for an inexpensive good breakfast. Staff are really nice. Quick to serve and for the food to come out. Only thing is they could offer almond milk or soy milk for their coffees etc!

Ordered breakfast to go a few times and every time I do, when I get home and opened up the container half to 3/4of my potatoes are garbage. They've been putting all the small pieces that stayed back on the grill and got burnt and hard in my order. I complained once and got better looking and tasting potatoes but the next order was back to those little burnt bitter tasting pieces. Very disappointed considering how much I use to love that place when they first opened up at the stockyards.

Always love this Sunset Grill and thrle turnover is usually fairly quick when there is a line-up. Friendly staff and great breakfast everytime I've been.

I enjoyed a nice breakfast with family, asked for a 5people and 2highchairs table, they didn't have but the manager arranged and moved 2 tables for us, we appreciated and had a great breakfast. Was well organized for a busy day.

Food was good. Lots of parking behind the restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, great window view seats. Service is quick and friendly.

This location is always good! The food is always good, the restaurant is well lit with huge windows, Mike and the staff are awesome! Perfect brunch spot. Plus this location has Mimosa.

Our server was friendly and helpful but slow. Food was underwhelming, nothing special or memorable (aside from my over medium eggs made over easy). Sausages were a little...crispy as you can see in the picture. Cashier seemed on edge and overworked, luckily someone else took over to provide a much better service.

My breakfast was absolutely amazing. It was ready almost immediately and the service was superb.

Breakfast at Sunset Grill. What can I say. As you walk in there is a welcoming presence. The girls (sarah our waiter) all seem to be very eager to help and serve. Ensuring ever so often if we needed anything. The music had the right tone and volume so we didnt have to shout over the table. The manager Mike even came to the table. A very pleasant guy. He was very much interested in our meal and how satisfied we were. It's very seldom that you fine this in today's breakfast restaurants. So I recommend this restaurant. After hard work this is the place you'll want to spend your money. A place that cares. Thank you all.

I've visited the location in person a few times with friends and coworkers and always had a good experience. This review isn't about that though. Today we ordered 3 breakfast(s) on Uber delivery. Accidentally the restaurant forgot to pack one order. Now most places would apologize, refund you and just ask you to place another order for delivery. Not these guys though...this is where they took the chance to show they go above and beyond the norm and leave a lasting impression. The restaurant apologized and personally delivered the missing order themselves faster then the Uber driver did originally. & they included some extras which were appreciated. Thank you guys...for the delicious breakfast and for being amazing people who truly try your best in every situation.
